Last Vacation Day before Start of Classes

Today, January 2, 2012 is the last vacation day before classes resume tomorrow. Trinoma, as usual, is jampacked. We will watch the movie, Shake Rattle and Roll and when we arrived at the theater area, the place was full of people. Lines were very, very long considering they are about 10 counters. I never experience this at Glorietta or at Greenbelt at all. Ayala Land is really cornering the movie market in Quezon City. It's unfortunate that SM is still way behind their cinemas. They always update their department stores but not their cinemas. It's an irony since me as a dad, I always bring my kids to the movies after shopping so I always go to Trinoma since they have beautiful cinemas. My favorite department store is now Landmark.

Our first movie is Segunda Mano. Our showing time was 3.25 pm.

The movie is just so so. The acting of Dingdong Dantes was superb on the other hand. The movie is suspenseful. The cinema crowd was shouting during the case scenes.

The second movie that we watched today is Shake, Rattle and Roll 13. This movie sucks. With all the money of Regal Films, they don't invest on quality scriptwriters.

The movie trailer is ok but the movie itself is still so so. After 13 years of doing this annually, they still produce ugly horror films.  The last segment where Eugene Domingo starred is the most disappointing. It's about the floods but it's the script really sucked.

We went home around 10.30 pm.

Dylan was already sleeping while Laura is still wide awake. I tucked her in around 11pm and slept easily after drinking her milk.
